Services

Our studio policy is to ensure that all materials, such as adhesives or paint medium used for conservation and restoration treatments, are easily reversible to an internationally recognised standard. These materials are chosen for their reversibility, durability and high specifications, as it is vital that they will neither discolour nor break down.

During treatment our main aim is to return work as close to the artist's intention whilst importantly, retaining the patina of age. Retouchings, if applicable, are carried out with minimal intervention and we avoid covering any of the original surface.

The studio regularly works on easel paintings by significant artists and so our confidentiality and professionalism is key. We strongly believe that it is paramount to work closely with our clients at all times throughout the paintings treatment and to keep all parties regularly updated on progress.
